AI Tools Award accelerates secure AI adoption across Treasury bureaus, demonstrating federal government's evolution from AI proof of concepts to

AI deployment, at scale.

Baltimore, MD – September 30, 2025.   SoKat has been awarded a prime contract under the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s AI Tools for Treasury program, a flagship vehicle to modernize operations with secure, production-ready artificial intelligence tools. The award affirms SoKat’s standing as a uniquely positioned AI software company - one that not only builds advanced AI systems, but also implements them inside federal environments where security, compliance, and measurable outcomes are non-negotiable.

Under this contract, SoKat will provide two state-of-the-art AI capabilities across Treasury. The first is a next-generation AI chat tool that enables the acceleration of research, policy review, drafting, and knowledge retrieval. The second is an AI coding tool that helps federal engineers and analysts write, review, and maintain software faster while enforcing enterprise-grade guardrails. Both tools are engineered for government use from the ground up: deployed in FedRAMP-authorized environments, aligned to NIST risk management practices, designed for zero-trust access, and instrumented with audit-ready logging, data residency controls, and role-based governance.

“As AI development increases exponentially, almost from week to week, Federal teams don’t need demos and 300 page reports - they need outcomes,” said Susan An, CEO of SoKat. “This contract is about moving beyond powerpoints to operational AI: systems that are secure by design, respectful of data, and capable of delivering productivity lift on day one. Treasury’s leadership sets a high bar, and we’re both excited and proud to help them leverage AI at the very frontier of AI innovation."

For agency stakeholders, the deployment focuses on mission impact: faster turnarounds on policy and procurement artifacts; higher-quality technical work with traceability; and improved stewardship of sensitive information.

This Treasury award also serves as a template for broader government adoption. SoKat’s architecture emphasizes modularity and control: agencies can turn on retrieval from approved sources, apply bureau-specific guardrails, and configure retention and audit policies to match their governance posture. SoKat’s delivery approach pairs commercial-grade software with disciplined enablement, meaning targeted onboarding, playbooks for responsible use, and measurable KPIs that tie AI assistance to tangible productivity and risk-management.
